id say when an item is reduced by 50% the manufacturer sells said item to the dealer for 50% less. i doubt if dealers mark-ups are high enough for them to reduce by such an amount ..

yes fair enough i can see what you mean - end of line items that the manufacturer wants to get rid of before supplying the new kit.
