Hi everyone. My name is David, and here is my system. It's an AV system, but based on two-channel audio. Also, this system does not have a TV. Instead, I chose a monitor with a 2ms response time and with two HDMI terminals. This means that, for the money, I get top-class performance without spending a fortune. The Humax PVR has two tuners anyway, and this makes a TV tuner redundant. The NaimUniti sounds absolutely jaw-dropping - even straight out of the box and turned on cold. It can only get better from here on in!

The unit at the bottom is a Philips DCC (digital compact cassette) recorder. DCC is a now-defunct format, that is capable of stunning sound quality, especially when using the Naim's DAC. To complete the ensemble is an old Thorens TD165, which we absolutely love and which we are about to have rewired with a new cartridge, and a pair of Monitor Audio RS6 floor-standing loudspeakers. The Blok Staxx 500 stand is custom made (it's wider and has teak blocks to match the other teak furniture in the room) and it looks great.

All in all, I'm pleased with this lot.
