If I was looking for a new streamer, I think I'd have a listen to this. I do like the specs and hopefully the HeOS platform is stable over WIFI. I have an Audiolab Omnia and do like the display, something missing on the M1

No Chromecast = deal killer. It the fail safe way to ensure an easy way to stream all content. For me that includes Radio Garden. I don't want to fuss with multiple apps, fidgety links, etc. Roon + CCA = everything an anti Apple household will need.

I've been using Heos for 6 years now, and its extremely stable over WiFi, early on it could have trouble connecting initially, but once connected it's stable.

I agree, the lack of Chromecast is disappointing.

I am using this with some older PSB floor standers (Imagine T). I have used many amps with these speakers (Sonos, Audiolab, etc.). I was using a Sonos soundbar for tv. This amp just blew me away! My old speakers came to life for music and film. They have a ‘virtual’ setting that just works great with film. Have attached a micro SVS sub and so long soundbar so long. Class D has arrived.
