Now I have my larger plasma in the living room, my smaller 15" LCD (yes I once followed the Left hand Path) can migrate to the kitchen (joy!). But I have no aerial and so wonder if there might be a recommended form of indoor aerial or some other gadget to stick into the little thing and associated Freeview box to help me to keep up with current affairs while toiling away!! Thank you.

Haven't done a test of indoor aerials as such, but Maplins/Currys/Comet/Dixons usually sell that sort of thing.

Thanks Andy, just thought there might be some new technology I hadn't heard of! Just checking.

Thanks again.

Something like this should work pretty well, but as ever indoor aerial performance is highly dependent on distance from transmitter, what's in the way, the construction of your home, its position within the room and a whole load of other things.

But the one linked above is around £25, and has both a signal booster and some filtering built-in, so should be as good as anything.

Thanks for this Andrew. Will check this out. Freeview is pretty strong in this area so shall be optimistic!!

Best of both worlds!!
