The fun never stops

Not watched the video because I'm not remotely interested in Victorian methods of playback frankly, but I'm warming to his videos purely based on the kind of people they wind up....

Watched 5mins and the difference can be heard between his phono stage and the Fosi in some instances. But all I hear is an incredibly thin sound across the board making possible differences impossible to hear.

....everyone knows that you cannot glean audio equipment SQ from YT.
You wouldn't use YT to judge how something will sound in your system.

I haven't watched this video.

But I've heard clear differences between cartridges on other videos.
(There was one where a bloke recorded the carts via in-room speakers - because his recorder only had mic inputs and not line for direct connection.
Now that was a completely pointless comparison).

Oh goody - another thread starting with a YT video...
I almost mentioned the same thing yesterday. It’s not just this forum, seems it’s endemic on all the geeky online places I frequent for my hobbies.

We can do better than starting threads from videos by people whose business model requires amplifying contentious & polarising ideas, manipulating audiences into reacting/commenting/sharing to generate $$$.

I couldn't phrase it better Matt.
Well said.
