Theres currently two MASSIVE boxes sat in my kitchen. I'd love to tell you all that I'm going home to tear them open eagerly like a child at christmas with not so much as a thought for dinner but unfortunately I've promised take my mum shopping tonight.

Good to hear that they have arrived. Bet you cant wait to get at them but then family come first!

Perhaps you could give us an initial comment as soon as you have them wired up and again when they are burned in.

Still need to make up my mind between these and the PMC FB1i so your feedback will be eagerly awaited.
 
i don't want to know! i especially don't want to know how much better crimson thinks they are then his 19's! why isn't there an ignore button.....

If you can organise it, why not connect them Before you go shopping, so they've had a couple of hours of burning-in when you get back 🙂 Anyway, plan for some serious listening after 1 week of continuous playing or so, they do need time to loosen up - but it's worth the wait

Not sure as far as PJ's tutorial goes as I use the 'Insert Image' tree on the toolbar that is located above the box I type this into....
 
Thanks PP! I've been listening to them - No spikes and fresh out the box but its pretty clear I'm dealing with some very serious kit. A review to come - and pics if I can get the hamg of it! I was posting images fine the other day ... I can't see that tree you mention Messiah. Or a toolbar come to mention it. Mac only perhaps? JD?

I've no doubt but TBH they sound pretty good already! I've got the weekend off and a new amp arriving to audition so I'll post my findings next week.

I was talking to the chaps I bought my Quad from about the possibility of buying a second 909 and happened to mention that conversation. He'd taken a pre/monoblock combo by the same manufacturer in p/ex for some high end Luxman stuff that day! So I thought I'd have a listen. They should arrive tomorrow.
 
Hey Jax

Not many people I've been chatting to seem to know much about LFD. The brand seems better known in your neck of the woods. Have you had a listen to any of their kit?
