I just wondered if there's any truth in the rumour that Aldi and Lidl will be selling second-hand records as a way of competing with the major retailers? The records will be displayed in wooden crates and will feature titles by bands that you've never heard of in exotic-looking sleeves. Naturally, we will wonder if the records are a bit cheap and nasty but, when we get them home and give them a spin, we'll mutter, 'It's not bad actually.'
