Technics dust cover spring clips removal.

Quick question guys I bought a cheap grotty technics sl-bd20 player none working to strip down for parts mostly the lids and hinge clips.

Can any one confirm how to remove the hinges please?

You'll be lucky if you get a response from someone who's done it before.
And that's what I reckon you're going to need.

I saw only one of hundreds of online images showing a view from directly behind. It didn't make things any clearer.

From your photo, I would be thinking about squeezing the 2 metal bits together with fine-point, long-nosed pliers.....

Thanks for the reply just Managed to get them out putting thin screwdriver in through the bottom and gently pushing against the record player back while pulling from the top and the slide straight out. As there is a little notch on the back of the record deck that holds them in.
