TEAC REFERENCE 385 vs Denon DF107DAB (OR similar!!)

Hi all,

So, have persuaded the misses to chip in for a new hi fi (result) and its got to be a mini sytem due to lack of room....

I've nailed a pair of MINT B&W 601 S3's on eBay and want to get the best out of them for a budget of around £250 - 350....currently thru an old Technics mini system which is basic (HD-55).

Personally I'd go down the route of 2nd hand NAD's but room wise its a bit small here.

I was going to buy the Denon but will the TEAC be much better? Happy also to buy second hand....

...or in fact any of the earlier Teacs like the 300 mk11 or mk111 vs the slightly older Denons!
