Tape for securing speaker cables

What sort of tape are people using to secure speaker cables to the floor? I've looked at other ways of securing/ hiding the cables but I think I'm just going to have to go with taping them down.

You could use gaffer tape or similar, but have you considered trunking?
Running along the top or bottom of the skirting board, it can be very unobtrusive.

I’ve never taped cables to the floor. If they’re a suitable length they should ‘drape’ naturally - that is, without tension or twists - and need no securing.

Same here. They are behind my speakers/TV/AV rack so I can’t even reach them! The only ones I tried to conceal are those to my rear speakers……managed to tuck them between my carpet and the skirting board.

I just let my speaker cable lay naturally along the side of the skirting boards..no need for tape I don't think......unless you have some really light weight stuff that's very unwieldy and all over the place...then I'd get some plastic conduit to run it through.
