Hello every One,

I need some expert advice. I am not looking to buy any of these speakers for now. But would Love to understand the difference between them.Exept the build quality of the cabitnet and over all weight. All drivers are same, crossover is same. here and there on some numbers and over all weight.

Why should one pay 1700 for the same tech that is on 1000 and if you are paying for looks i understand but there should not be a difference in performance. I know both are five stars and well reveiwed.

But i beleive the reveiw should be the same....

Have a look.

No stupid question, just stupid answers.

I think you are comparing 2 completely different speakers even though they lookto be the same specification-wise. The DC6T is cheaper because prices were reduced prior to it becoming replaced by the new DC8T and the Preciscion range has recently come about to cover 'home-theatre' applications.

The DC6T was designed as a stereo speaker and as such probably has a completely different internal crossover when compared to the newer 6.2.

Audition whatever you can but it is now apparent that the DC6T is a veritable bargain.

It's not a stupid question, but looking at specs will only account for so much. Far as I know, the only similarities these two share are the plinths and the crossover. The drivers in the Precisions have been newly designed for the range. At the end of the day though, both will sound good, but the Precisions with the right source attached would arguably sound a bit better.
