Hi All

I am considering buying Tannoy Mercury V4 Speakers to pair with Marantz PM6003 Amp.

Anyone using this combination please confirm if it is a good idea.

The other option is to buy Polk Audio TSi300..which are almost half the price of Tannoys.

Thanks.

The Tannoys will work fine with the PM6003.

Also consider ;

Boston Acoustics A250

Monitor Audio BX5

Dali Zensor 5

These are great choices also and will work fine with PM6003 amp.

Hi Steven, Please reconsider the Tannoys, My thoughts on these speakers varies greatly from the review. Build quality was especially poor. I have heard them with the Marantz and thought the combo was again poor. As with all speakers try before you buy, you might love them. Personally I wont let them near my house again. You could save another £100 and get a cracking pair of Standmounts, or if it's Floorstanders you want then the BX5's are a good call from cypher.

First post, and a bit negative.

Ive been listening to lost of speakers this week including several monitor Audiod and Tannoys.

The Monitor Audios were pretty ghastly TBH. Flabby bass and treble too loud. The tannoys were a lot better. At least you could listen to them for more than five minutes.
