Does anyone know how these speaker packages compare?

I know the sub is better with the quads but what about the other speakers?

Strangely enough the Tannoys can be bought for £20 cheaper as seperates than a whole package. But with the Quads the Sub costs the same as the whole package.

The Quads will sound better than the Tannoys (as good as they are for their price point). Your only problem will be that with the Lites having been discontinued late last year, you'll be hard pushed to find many dealers left with stock, and then you'll probably have a choice of one colour........

I have the Quad L-ites and realy like them, you can still get them in Rosewood but I dont think you can get any other coulor, see the link below for price and a good pic. If you look though my old posts you will find a lot of info on the L-ites hope This helps Gary

Quad lites are better sounding to the tannoys and the sub is great also easy to upgrade the the fronts and centre thats what iam planning in the future when moving to a larger room .

Try Weymouth they may have silver ones for £595 thats what i bought because they are slighty smaller.Frank Harvey has tannoys for £595 and the f4custom for £800 or Creativeaudio sell them for £699 with a sub upgrade and cable bundle.I have the following and love them but would change the tv and amp if buying now. For Panasonic 42pz85 and Onkyo 875.

[*]Onkyo 606
[*]Ps3
[*]Xbox 360
[*]Samsung F1080 dvd player
[*]Qed Xt speaker cable chord hdmi
[*]Apollo stands 7 and 9
[*]Samsung Le40F86
