Hi all,

I have a Denon DM37DAB with Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 speakers which I bought from a UK dealer last year. I'm moving to Canada soon and was wondering if you reckon it will still work ok on the 110V power supply over there or if I'd be better off getting a new system when I get there? I've tried to contact Denon but no joy so far.

Thanks very much!

As far as I know the Denon system is 230V only, so using it in Canada would involve a step-up transformer, which could be pricey, or an internal modification to install a suitable 100-120V power supply, which again is unlikely to be cheap

So, it's possible, but whether it's cost-effective is a different matter, given that the same system is availabe in Canada, or from the US, for about $400, or just on £250. Might be a lot less grief to sell the system here and buy a new one when you get there...
