I recently purchased the above.
I bought it in a hurry given that the price, £240, seemed so good in comparison to others.
I haven't picked it up yet so I've been studying the photos I have of it. I'm not sure what the arm is but the cartridge seems to say Roksan Corus.
The deck appears to be in good nick but I've found myself wondering if I should have held off given that my original plan was to save up for a nearly new P3 in great condition.
What do you think of my purchase? Did I do the right thing?

Time will tell, depends whether it is in good condition and fully functional, you may need to replace the stylus on the cartridge if it has a long history.
What tonearm is fitted?
Plenty of advice online as to how to improve this already excellent deck.

If it is in good condition, replacing belt would help otherwise it's better than a P3.
Let us know when you get it as always good to get feedback to posts on this forum.
The Corus Black is actually a Goldring cartridge and was excellent in its day.

RB250 common fitment circa 1984/1985 , Corus is a re-branded goldring
New stylus , New belt , change the bearing oil & should be fine
Future arm rewire or arm upgrade possible
£240 bargain , Mint ones fetch £600/1000 these days

New these are still in production £2,500/6,000 depending on spec now a Audio Note TT-One

Yep, regarding tonearm and think it was a Goldring G1012 but could be wrong. Styli still available.
Good call on bearing clean out and oil.
Would be good to hear OPs opinion when it arrives

Thanks all. I will keep you informed.
There's a bit of a problem at the moment. Seller (ebay) wants paying before I collect it even though it was advertised as collection only.

Not good. Tell him you want to see it and take cash if collection, unless you intend to buy with card or PayPal for some sort of financial protection.
What is sellers eBay rating like?
