finally got my system purchased

went for the new brio r and rp3 turntable

i spent an age listening to different speakers for the system - in the end went for B&W 685s - to my ears they were the most exciting

big thanks to the staff in audio t in brighton who were very patient and made it an enjoyable experience 🙂 🙂 🙂

I almost went for the 685's too. They're fantastic all round speakers that seem to be able to make anything sound good.

can i say a big thanks to rick, PP (i didn't audition the leema in the end - sorry - i'd been waiting too long for credit card to arrive and really liked the brio on first listening - was desparate to get it home) and anyone else who chipped in

Hope you are enjoying your system - just got the brio r this weekend along with the dac - have 685s and it makes a good system to my ears anyway 🙂
