Yes . Those Chord amps are way overpticed. Surprised they didn't use an Advance Paris integrated

My brother used an Advance Paris Pre/Power and liked it much. He now uses a Cambridge EVO 150.

Work in progress from me with a couple of changes due imminently, which I'll add when they're done. A new cabinet and turntable should be sorted in a week or so.

We're extremely pleased with progress in bringing this system together from scratch, and I'm optimistic that the final (maybe) couple of changes will really add to the satisfaction.

I use these for my CDs and Blu-Ray.

2 x 400 capacity ones from Amazon fit perfectly into a Kallax storage cube. 😊

I have one of their racks as well. Unfortunately they have been bought out and you cannot get any parts for them anymore.

Have you tried moving the left Kef away from that cabinet a bit? I imagine it might improve the SQ a bit with more room to breathe. Perhaps the chair and rack could squeeze along a bit to free up some extra room?

I understand this is not always possible and we have to accept the limitations of our rooms. But it's worth a try if possible and you haven't already.

A very simple system in comparison to some on here. Apart from a WiiM mini hidden behind the CD/DAC , it’s very much a case of what you see is what you get……

Have you tried moving the left Kef away from that cabinet a bit? I imagine it might improve the SQ a bit with more room to breathe. Perhaps the chair and rack could squeeze along a bit to free up some extra room?

Don't worry - it's a good question. Yes, we have tried a few arrangements but quite honestly, there wasn't a huge audible difference when we moved them to impractical positions a long way away from any walls and cabinets, to where they are now. In future we'll have a better room and more space, but for now this is good enough.
