System overhaul. Opinions required

Hi everyone

I own a Naim setup consisting of cd5x nac 112x nap 150x and B&W 705 speakers.

I have around 3k to play with to upgrade my system to something more special.

I was thinking of a ex demo cdx2 - this can be had for £2500 leaving me 500 plus approx 900 from cd5x sale.

Would upgrading to Harbeths P3ESR be an upgrade or would it be a sideways move from my B&Ws

There are so many options and I want to get the best bang for buck upgrade possible.

What do you suggest?

just thought id mention its for my bedroom - 5x8m

Musical taste is Metal/rock/hiphop.

I like my sound warm and engaging with detail hence my 705s as they are revealing.

Have you considered getting into the whole streaming thing and 24 bit music? IMO. Money spent here is more future proof as CD is on the wane.
