Surround Speakers KEF vs B&W?

Hi

I was looking at the following 3 speaker packages and wanted to get your opinions:

KEF KHT 2005.3 with K1 Subwoofer (£699.99)

or

Kef 2005.3 (W/ HTB2SE Subwoofer) (£899.99)

or

B&W MT-25 SPEAKER PACKAGE MT25 (£950)

I like the aesthetics of the KEF over the B&W's, but is the subwoofer upgrade worth the money, and if so, how then does it compare the the B&W's?

also, is it worth considering the KEF 3005SE system?

Hi, I've just ordered the 2005.3 (kube 2) to go with a Denon 1910. It's definitely worth shopping around as the prices you have quoted are RRP's. If you buy speakers alongside a receiver you can save a tidy sum. For example, I saved £270 off the best individual prices availabe through RS.

Worth having a look at Hi-spek (&Sevenoaks over the next forntnight)

By the way, not hooked mine all up yet but I'm sure I won't be dissapointed with the 2005.3's. Depends how much you can really justify. When I bought mine I kinda wished I'd gone for the M&W 25's. That feeling didn't last long once I checked my bank balance and I reassured myself that I had spent to my limit and no more. My advice is don't over-stretch yourself unless you can really afford it.
