At the moment, I'm using the Mytec Brooklyn bridge with the Brooklyn amp plus, but I've enjoyed all the amplifiers I've tried out with the Neats, Exposure 31010s2d, Primaluna Dialogue premium hp, Electrocompaniet ECI 80d, not a dull moment with any of them, so the Neats are very accommodating with amplification as long as it's quality stuff....I have my system on the system photos thread....on page 2...oh I'm sure yours is also on it... If it's still running.lol.
That's a generally punchy set of amps (and bloody hell the Primaluna is pretty!) I'll be interested to see how the NAIT 50 gets on with them as it's a feisty little chap.

Yeah my system is in that thread but just swap the ARCAM for the little Naim and double the amount of vinyl 😉

I've had a couple of Naim amps and they didn't disappoint...had the pmc twenty 21 speakers with those....really loved the detailed open sound of the little pmc's but they could tend to sound very lean with some recordings, but the timbre of bass from that transmission line is very addictive...I'd still like to hear the larger 22's...I reckon they could be very good indeed in the right room.

I would love to get a listen to the little Nait 50......Naim were a bit off with the original pricing of it though....much more attractive now that some dealers are offering it at a more reasonable price.

The wee N50 isn’t about the claimed power figure of 25W. it’s capable of 25 - 200W as a result of the transformer and current generation ability.
That’s why I an assuming it’s driving the LS50. 👍🏻

A cheaper option to the PMC and KERR Acoustics are the AlChris TX1 or TX5. Arguably better due to Alan’s crossover design and component as well as his cabinet build skills.

Fiddled about with speaker placement, just for the sake of it earlier. Main goal here was to get away from the cupboard that was close to the left-hand speaker. Arguably the speakers are as much as a metre too narrow now, but there's no tangible downside to this positioning yet and they're directly opposite the cooking zone for early evening listening.

Added a couple of extra shots for context - it's a far from ideal space but you work with what you've got. The side-on view is my position if working from home downstairs. Honestly, when I go and demo new speakers I think it's a far from foregone conclusion that these KEFs get "beaten". I look forward to being proven wrong but they've sounded great since shoving socks in the rear ports. Maybe I'll get the proper bungs out of the box if the upcoming audition doesn't justify a change!PXL_20250428_083105413.jpg

i´m now sleeping in my old family house and installed there some older components i had closed in boxes and the placement of the speakers is really bad but somehow it sounds good , being maybe 50% of the quality i would have if the speakers were well positioned as in my home i have a 70´s room , meaning only 70´s devices and a modern room as i recentelly assembled a new system but have more in other rooms of my house ,like living room , movies room and garage well positioned. but as my mother is getting very old i must be there as sometimes she forgets things and afraid of having people entering by the backyard to be stolen or any grabbing with more strenght might cause permanent damages so i sleep there, and it looks all very bad

Yep, that's what I paid. I'm obviously biased but I think that's an extremely good price for a very impressive amp. It is a significant sonic jump from the slightly more costly Arcam A25.

From my own experience Arcam sound good but the build quality and reliability need work hope you find the sound you want. Make sure you have good speaker cables 😁😉👍
