Subwoofer hi and lo level simultaneously

Recommend me a subwoofer that will go well with my kit that will be good for music and movies that can use the hi & lo level inputs at the same time.

Budget £400.00

Alternative – forget using the sub for music and get one for movies.

What would do the job then? How much could I save, but would it be worth it?

In the instructions for my REL Strata it recommends connection via both the high level and low level simultaneously.

Perhaps REL still recommend and manufacture their subs this way today?

Thanks for the replies.

So REL is an option for hi & lo level at the same time.

I checked with B&W about the AWS610 and they say it can work with both connections at the same time. A bit over budget but c'est la vie!

I also did some testing using the digital coaxial output from the 751BD to the Denon to allow the Denon to do the decoding. I was surprised by how good it sounded, the Denon must be mixing the 0.1 channel into the front speakers. I need to do some more testing but I think I could live with it like that until if/when I move the sound system to a larger room.

Most audio tested was DTS probably at 1.5Mb/s so is quite good, better than DVD, but not as good as lossless.

The few brief test I have done though I can only hear a small difference.

A few issues with subjective testing in this instance though is the lack of bass with the 751BD doing the decoding and that the Denon seems several DB louder.

I might get a sub in a few months time depending on finances.
For mainly music use plus some movies what you recommend out of:
Rel T5
B&W ASW610
Any other suggestions around this price (£500.00ish)
