Subwoofer cable, where does my cable sit?

I have recently upgraded interconnects and speaker cable and completely overlooked the subwoofer cable. I now have Chord Signature for both interconnects from Pre to Power Amp and speaker cable, plus Chord Anthems between my Blu-ray player and Pre amp.

I had my subwoofer cable installed a couple of years ago by the local hifi shop on my B&W PV1 and they used Qed QX1CV-SC cable, which is off the reel stuff used by installers, but I am not sure how good it is compared to others?

So my question is;

Will I see an improvement by upgrading the current subwoofer cable?

If yes, would Chord Chameleon (£100) be good enough to match the rest of the system or do I need to go for Chord Chorus (£365) ?

The answers to this will help me track down a shop who will be able to let me home audition them.

£100 for subwoofer cable? How many metres is that? Sounds expensive if that's a short run. In monetary terms I have a sub which is about as powerful and expensive as yours and I used QED miniature. From memory its about £30 for 3 metres. However I believe Mark Grant also do good sub cables at a good price.

Thanks, Good point, the prices are for a 4 meter length.

I have tried Mark Grant cables in my system and they don't come anywhere near the Chord Chameleon for audio interconnects, let along the signatures. I tried a set when I took delivery of my blu-ray player.
