Sub woofer problem

Hi

I've got a Monitor Audio Radius 360 sub and a Sony STRDA1200 amp. I can't get any output from the sub even using the amp test signal. Is there any way to find out whether it's the amp or the sub that's causing the problem? It's connected to the sub woofer connection on the amp using a coax cable as it always has been and has only recently stopped working.

If the sub was working before, you could try switching it off & on again or turn the volume up on the sub.

I've tried turning it off and on, altering the vol and the gain but still no joy.

Changed the fuse in the sub's plug?

The sub's got power because the blue power lights coming on.

The only thing i can think of is to turn it off & on again, make sure the volume is at the correct level & re-run the audessey, if that doesen't work then i have absolutely no idea.

Also double check your subwoofer cable is connected at both ends.

With the sub cable disconnected from the amp end, power up the sub and touch the end of the sub cable, you should hear noise through the sub.

If not its a fault with the cable or sub, if Ok itas a problem with the amp
