streaming music advice please.

Hi, fairly new to digital so looking for the benefit of your wisdom.
What i have is a rotel 930 amp downstairs and im now using spotify on the computer upstairs iwas going to get an ipod touch and arcam ir dock and do it wifi or would a streamer/network music player be better and is a dac required for either ?

You'll need a DAC with the latter option. Don't know about the iPod touch, isn't that made by Banana, or was it Mango or someone?

I hear the irDock is a good analogue dock, and that with an iPod Touch would be a good solution. You might also want to try a Squeezebox Touch, which would come out a bit cheaper and might be a bit more versatile?
