Stereo performance in a home cinema setup.

Hi everyone.

Just wanting some feedback.

Will adding a Yamaha A-S500 stereo amp to my setup significantly improve stereo perfomance than just sticking with my av reciever.

I use my sony str dg820 7.1 avr set to 2 channel when i listen to music. its only budget equipment and i'm not an expert but i do like my music to sound good. I get great highs and lows and good stereo imaging. As far as i can remember the sound is similar / same as when i had a technics class A amp.

Stereo performance will improve. "Significant" is a very relative term. Only you can decide if the improvement is significant enough for the money, with a demo.
