didnt see at the cinema. bought it on 4k blu ray for £20.70, watched it once, wasn't a fan. sold it for £22 *biggrin*

Seriously, have you lot ever met a "real" Trekker??? You know, the kind who dresses up in uniforms and goes to conventions? They make trainspotters look like worthy panelists on QI or some other R4 panel game!

If you like slapstick, cartoon type movie in 4k it may be ok.
To avoid total disaster id skip the first 5 min cgi p1ss take.

I bought it as something "neutral" to watch with the in-laws (the Goebbels) on Thanksgiving. And because I got an Atmos copy, the first pukka Atmos Blu-Ray I've got my hands on.

The cartoon aliens at the beginning were last seen on Futurama. Or Gremlins. Or both. The other aliens in prosthetics were last seen on Doctor Who, Babylon 5, Blake's 7, ....

Simon Pegg wrote it. Should've stopped after Hot Fuzz.
