I have an old Stanton 500 cartridge. I'd like to but a new, replacement stylus. I've looked at a web archive and several variations are listed. My cartridge is simply labeled Stanton 500 (I can't find the original box or instructions) The white, plug-in stylus has no marking on it at all apart from a small blue rectangle on the front and a small silver-grey graphic on one side.
Should I assume that the cartridge is an original 500 i.e. not a mark II or any other later variation and also assume that I need a D50A stylus?
Finally, where can I buy one?
Thanks in advance for any advice or info
Rob
