The Spendors should fit Cyrus very well as they don't stress their treble, or actually any other part of the frequency range. Highly rated, in my opinion, however they will be replaced soon with the new Spendor A series.
A excellent marriage, Spender/Cyrus.
I had a highly tweaked Roger/Cyrus based system back in the 90's and apart from base extension it was one of the best musical systems I have ever owned.
PS... Spender and Rogers share the same qualities tonally
Gusboll:There are a few bargains around at the moment so thinking of a demo on Spendors - anyone got experience of a similar type of set-up or alternatives?
I auditioned the SE8's at home in my Naim system which worked excellently, apart from the fact that the 8's need to be placed along way out from the rear wall which put them almost in the middle of the living room. I ended up with the 6's instead.
