A quick Google suggests that WHF didn't review them, though I could be wrong. I'd suggest you have a search yourself, and look at Spendor's website - most manufacturers have pages for discontinued kit.

As above, although they did review the S8e. Not many reviews available but as far as I can determine the S9 came out in 2002
