Hello,

I 'am searching for bookshelfspeakers en found secondhand the NAD 8525 speakers. I know Nad but never sean of heart about them. Can someone tell me more about it. My big Spendors BC1 are going to leave my room en i will replace them by little speakers. Sujestions are welcome.

well what's the rest of your system? Room size? Music type? Budget?

probably hasn't got much budget, just done a quick search, can't find anything listed about Nad 8525 spks.

If your not going to spend a lot of money then take a look at Q Accoustics line of Bookself speakers. They are fantastic value for money.

I got a meridian amplifier 101/103 with 2 powersuplies, a Myriad model MCD 200, a tuner Luxman T117. Roomsize 4 meters wide and 7,5 meters long. I listen to all sorts of music from jazz to classic.

Well, if they ain't too large, I'd look for a pair of used B&W DM 602 S3 or S2. The spendors are pretty warm sounding, so I don't think the current Q Acoustics offering would do, but the older 2020i might just be it - if looking for new. Others to consider are Dali Zensor 3, which are open sounding but smooth, and warmish. The Wharfedale 220 seem to be warm as well (some called them dull though).
