I am planning to buy a Moon Neo Ace and the Hifi shop has recommended Dynaudio Excite X34 Speakers. Would these be an overtop purchase?

I am not sure. Does the shop understand what your listening room is like? Are they prepared to let you audition these speakers at home? If not go elsewhere and audition as many speakers as you can.

If you are spending that much on an all-in-one then speakers around.d this price bracket seems about right to me but you may find cheaper ones suit your room better.

Agreed with the above.

I'd also add that at 50Wpc suggesting not the most sensitive floorstanders is a little strange to me.

I do not know how well in practice that combo works but it sure doesn't provide much headroom nor potentially control that would come with more power.
