The plan is to put some speakers in the ceiling in my kitchen and bathroom. I want to wire it straight off the amp so can play music through out the flat. Obviously quality wont be amazing but just want something to sound resonable.

Any suggestions would be most helpful!

Thanks

thanks for the input what about the Kef CI80 or CI100 range

I currently have Kef speakers and like them.

Would there be any problem setting this up with the onkyo 605. Also I would only be putting one of these in the bathroom and 1 in the kitchen. Do you need two of them to get stero sound or what happens when you just wire one into each room?

Cheers

if the amp has a mono switch then that would do for having a shower. Otherwise you will miss any detail that was only played to the missing speaker. Its not that ofton that just one speaker carries a voice or something though.

you can probably mix the left&right with a transformer of sorts, but the cost would be that of another set of speakers allmost.

ebay is covered in marine and ceiling speakers. Remember without sub support nothing will sound that good anyway. Even them kefs are poor played alone.
