Speakers for Pioneer S510

I have a Pioneer S510 receiver and I want to buy a speaker set that will go the best with it. I dont need a surround system, because a will only listen to music. Can you please help me with the choice? The price range is up to 400$.

Hi there. You could probably look into doing some home demos. Basically you take the speakers home and try them out.

It's really a matter of taste. What kind of music do you listen to?

I'm guessing you will be running TV and maybe a games consol through it also? If not then I'm curiouse as to why you didn't just get and stereo amp that is more likely to do a better job with music than an AV receiver.

Hello, thanks for your response.. I listen to classic rock from 70's. I'm not going to buy a stereo receiver I just want some speakers for the av receiver I've got. I have an opportunity to buy a new JBL studio 190 for as low as 350EUR and I think I will go with it. Is it a good decision? I can try them, but not with my own receiver.. Is that a problem?
