Speakers for Marantz M-CR502

Now that the Marantz is down to £400 I am sorely tempted.

The reviews suggest it can be a bit clinical which may not be a porblem to me as I like classical music and new world.

I have a pair of Rega Kytes and a pair of Monitor Audio R852s.

Has anyone got one or any opinion on my speakers suitability ?

I have bought one @ £250 from Hughes Electronics in Cambridge.I went in and on the shelf it was £329 which wasn't bad but their stock list showed it is being discontinued (by them ? by Marantz ?) and it was reduced to £250.It sounded fine to me through some KEF loudspeakers they had hooked it up to.So when they said 7 day at home trial - money back if unhappy, I thought might as well at that price.Will be unboxing it and trying with my Rega Kytes and Monitor Audio R852/MDs and will post with my thoughts later.

hi. my m-cr502 sounds great with a pair of bose201. for music, its complete...for movies, im adding bass from wharfedale subwoofer.
