I don't think they've changed much the drivers or the amps but dynaudio put their recent effors on electronic, dsp ( possibly crossover) side of things instead of developing drivers itself... xeo 2 is a perfect example.. speakers sound big with plenty of bass on low volumes.. it's sort of adaptive bass control.. whether it's accurate that's another story. dyanaudio is known from having exaggerated bass and their products are first choice among electronic producers which is why you have wrong bass on so many electronic productions.
