Speakers for Denon DM38?

I'm looking at a good deal for the Denon DM38 for £198 from www.hifix.co.uk but without speakers as I now have a tight budget. Would I be able to use my speakers from my Technics SC-HD350 mini for a few months on this system? (they seem to have the same impedance).... I will save up for some nice speakers around December, am hoping for a winter deal on maybe either Wharefdale 10.1 or Monitor Audio BRs. I already have Alphason Speaker stands and good quality thick speaker cable. .. Perhaps some other speaker suggestions would be helpful since I am new to this.

I guess you can'y stretch for the superfi deal on Denon plus wharefdale 9.1's for £276

I was in richer sounds this afternoon demoing the Denon ,i tried it with Cambridge audio S30's-£130 and then Dali Lektor 1's,£200 both were excellent but the Dali's sounded the best.

Hifix have a deal with the MonitorAudio BR1 but not sure,(don't know anything about them) £259. That's as much as I can afford at the mo!

I bought 1 a few weeks ago for the bedroom with Q Acoustics 2020's, still running them in but am impessed with the sound.

I have the BR1'in my downstairs sytem and they are fantastic speakers. I think the Hifix deal is great and if it's right for you you should grab it with both arms. It's just my opinion though.

I have been wondering about some BR2s and found this site selling cheap, they have the BR1s at 126 a pair? (it is a bit ambiguous but I think it is for a pair) seems like a good deal

I have now got the bundle from Hifix.co.uk.. I must admit that the speakers are really good. Have been running them in since Friday (at Vol 9 - 11). Should think that by now I can crank them up a bit.

Have got the Monitor Audio BX2 on another Denon system DRA-F107 and they are good but couldn't afford the same speaker on my bedroom Hi-Fi. Well done Monitor Audio !!
