Hello,
I just acquired an MBL C31 CD Player and C51 Integrated Amp. I would like some suggestions for speakers
I listen to rock mostly. The room is 22 x 14. I currently have Usher 8571's. I have had them for over 15 years. Looking for used in the 5K range.
Thanks!

5k what? Dollars? Euros?
Standmount or floorstanders? Presumably floorstanders.
What is wrong with your old Ushers because 5k would appear to be a backward step from speakers that originally cost 7.7k dollar
No point in me recommending anything that you cannot audition for yourself.

5K USD USED speakers. If you don't recommend it how would I know or you know that I can or cannot audition it?

Simple. As I have no idea what is available for you to audition wherever in the world you may be there is no point in me recommending anything.
Get to a local dealership and listen to whatever they happen to have in your price bracket, either new or ex demo.
Buying any speakers second-hand without any knowledge of them is best avoided.
Nobody here can tell you what is going to sound good to you in your listening room.
I note you still haven't mentioned what, if anything, is wrong with the speakers you already have.
This forum is comprised predominantly of UK residents so we have absolutely no idea what is available second-hand in the US and, as such, I wouldn't recommend any speakers that you cannot audition for yourself before buying.
Well I could actually but it would be pointless.
Me, I am perfectly happy with my Acoustics Zen Adagio, which happen to American but whether or not they would suit your set-up I have no idea.
