Speaker suggestions for ONKYO TX-SR606

Dear Friends

Just bought an ONKYO TX-SR606 ,looking to buy suitable speakers for the same.

My main use will be music and some movies.Have a full HD Samsung series 5 and Sony DVD player.Size of my room is 15x11 ft.

The qoutes i got from one Mumbai store are (in INR, 1UK Pound=71 INR)

1.Jamo S406HCS1 (without subwoofer)17.5K,with subwoofer 29.5K.

2.Mission M34i (without sub woofer)24.5K, with subwoofer 37.5K

3.Paradigm Cinema CT-70 with subwoofer 27K.

For the first two as they are towers,can i avoid the sub woofer ?

Please advice on what will be a good choice and any better speaker suggestions in and around this price range are welcome.

No one has yet posted, but I'm concerned you've bought an AV receiver when your main use is music (especially the Onkyo which isn't considered a particularly musical AV receiver). Is there any chance of returning it for a stereo integrated amp if music is your top priority? Otherwise, I'm afraid you may be disappointed (depending on your expectations of course).

Thanks for your reply.I brought it from a different country and hence chance of returning is not there.I am a beginner in HiFi and my expectations are average.

Hope to hear from some others.
