Listen to Jazz, Blues, Soul, R & B, Classical in room 8ft wide, 10 ft deep and 7 ft high. Listening about 6ft back so near listening.

Pleased to hear ideas for new speakers up to £6k. Not too forward, good imaging and importantly depth. Ideas around the unusual most welcome. Thank you.

Have a listen to some Focal speakers with a Beryllium tweeter such as the 1008Be, or if you want to push the budget a little, Diablo Utopia's. Focal get an unfair, bad rap from some people for being too forward. They aren't at all, they're very transparent and honest. With a warmish sounding set-up like yours they should sound accurate, dynamic and project a beautiful midrange. My 1008Be's have loads of bass too, they sound more like floorstanders than stand mounted speakers.
