Just bought GALE ARIA AR10, sound very good, however they are sat on a carpet at the moment. What is the best stand for these small speakers? And what is the low cost alternative!!!

Thanks in advance

Hi Messiah, that's interesting, you're not using your AVI's dac? And funny you mention netbook, I'll go the same way, dedicated to audio duty only!

Well I still use it for certain sources but the sluggish response to changing the volume is quite annoying! The Beresford DAC offers easier volume control, increases the inputs and has a dedicated USB input which i'll connect the Netbook to.

I still get very impressive results whichever DAC is used.

(As an aside - did you read the post in the Graphic Equaliser thread but post your question on this one??)

Hi Ben

Depends on your listening position and on how high you need the speakers but I'd say take a look on eBay for some 2nd hand Atacama SE20/24 or Nexus 5/6 stands or, if you can find some, Mission Stancette stands.

All are mass loadable too
