Speaker advise

Hi,

I currently have a pair of B&W 601 S3's and LCR60 S3. To complete my 5.1 speaker system I need a subwoofer and rears. I want to get the PV1 but cant decide on the rears my options are as follows:

1. PV1 + pair of LM1's

2. PV1 + pair of M-1's

3. MT-30 complete set (not sure if it is worth replacing the 601's and LCR60).

Your assistance will be appreciated.

Personally, I wouldn't replace your front or centre speakers with the M1s to make up the MT-30 package. The M1s do make great rears though. I'd see if you can get a couple on loan from a dealer and see what you think. You may well need the stands as well and these are pretty expensive - £150 for the pair I think... They are very solid stands though and hide the speaker cable well.

I currently have B&W 601 S1 AND LCR60 S3 in my 5.1 set -up with the wharfdale SW150 all currently powered with the Onkyo SR605 Reciever and i am more than happy!! Awesome sound!! Especially with the new Hi-Def Formats.
