Evening all,

Only my second post

I have a confined listening area and setup at space at the end of my lounge.

Current setup.
Marantz PM6007
Marantz CD6007
Mission 731pro speakers.

I want to upgrade the speakers and have 2 makes in mind but have been unable to hear either.
ELAC DEBUT 3 DB63
or
TRIANGLE BR02.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

The speakers will be place on a sideboard!

Many thanks.
Tony

Hi Tony,

both alternatives, which you mentioned are very good. For an amp like Marantz PM 6007 with a bit sweater, very musical sound is giid a combination with faster speaker with high sensitivity. So Triangle is the right choice. Than I have a friend using same amp with QAcoustics 3020 speakers + some small sub from Jamo. Also very nice sounding combo. Also Fyne Audio bookshelves like F5E will wiork very well with your Marantz. BR.

That's great.
The Triangles would suit my room better.
I can get a better deal on the ELAX trading in an old set of LINN Tukans, that I've been trying to sell for a while now.!

Thank you.

You'll need to audition for yourself, as only you can choose the right speakers for your preferences. Also, you'll need to try them with your amp to make sure they work well together, and insure the speakers themselves are suitable for your room and their intended placement. Sound complicated? It sort of is, which is why it's always best to audition rather than just blindly order online. If you make the wrong choice now, you'll be back on the market again in a few months after the novelty of the new speakers wear off, losing money on what you're about to pay out. Unless you strike it lucky.
Oooh, the excitement!

Yes that would be ideal but not many people offer this option locally.
I have a 30 day return deal on the Triangles.!

Thank you for the advice.
