sound pause problems

Have just bought the panasonic 50'' v20 i can pause visual images when watching tv but sound carries on as normal what have i done wrong.please can someone help. with thanks Steve.

If it's anything like the function on my TV it's not actually pausing the program it's just giving you a snapshot of the image on screen at that moment.

Live pause would require some serious onboard storage, a la Sky+.

You have done nothing wrong.....This is normal on the V20
