Sound difference between apps on gaming console and TV

Will there be a sound quality difference, let's say for Netflix, between a TV with the Netflix app or a gaming console with the Netflix app (both hooked up to a receiver)?

Don't think so, unless you're trying to watch Netflix 4K and the TV shows it in 4K but gaming console doesn't support 4K for example.
