Hi! I've had the WH-1000XM3 for more than 2 years now and I found its bass overly emphasised, to the point where the vocals sound a bit veiled. I've tried using the AutoEQ settings on Wavelet and also other recommended EQ profiles, but I decided to create my own EQ profile in the end.
I'm using the 20-band equalizer in Equalizer Buddy, an Android app which is free on the play store (no affiliation to me btw).
I'll share it here if any of you would like to try it
(I was aiming for a more balanced and neutral EQ tuning)

Hello, I'm looking for owners of Sony's WH-1000XM3. I'm really happy with the product, they are comfortable, the ANC is awesome and they work great overall. The sound experience has been weird, at first I didn't bother about the bass heavy sound but then I tried Wavelet on Android. The sound changed completely, the bass was more natural, mids and highs were improved a lot. Then I did my own preset with similar performance to Wavelet auto eq. Has anyone had a similar experiencie with this headphones?. They are no audiophile graded headphones but they are practical and easy to use. Let me know.
