Sony WF-C700N

I bought a pair of these based on your article, Best running headphones and wireless earbuds 2024: tested on the road and in the gym, and I am disappointed. The occlusion effect that I experience (where you hear your own footfalls as loud thuds) when walking or running with these buds is so bad that they are unusable. Their ambient sound passthrough isn't good either, as I can't hear cars approaching, even with the ambient setting at max. Neither of these problems occur with my five-year-old Jabras.

I own them for several months now and in the metro stations or walking outside , even at work the noise cancelling is top I don’t hear nothing, just the music. The sound quality I give 8 of 10. I own Sony mx5 and they are close 🙂

'sensational is an understatement. WHF;''Sony's wireless earbuds deliver comfort, noise-cancelling and sensational sound quality for an affordable price''

Sony used to plaster the words EXTRA BASS, on proper thumping earbuds, which is missing here and everywhere, because it has more than that., so no need to state the obvious.

...takes a little learning curve, and tweaking soundspaces (with say Poweramp music player-a music player that if sony made music players it would be this) adapting to the total awesomeness of what these little babies can do for ones brain.

some online monkeys immediately dissed several issues, simply because they didnt apply the detailed usage instructions (yea 150 pages!) to get the best out of them. eg: the words ''deep in the ear canal'', once done, and due to the lightness of the beasts, you cant feel them at all, and when removing them at the end of the day, feels like a limb has been amputated, as they become a part of one.

The nifty and dazzling soundspaces available, plus that adaptive sound thingy you can leave on with no music and it adds audio pizzazz to any environment, like you have that environment in your head, only spinning. (and i wouldn't be surprised if there's a MEMS GPS in them too, yea)

beyond expectations, as Sony is always, and here again...streets ahead
eg:
years before Apple and Samsung had a dedicated camera button and Ingress Protection, Sony jammed these into everything they laid their hands on
