hi,

from the start I personally wouldn't consider buying the wt65 compared to the other two sets based on reviews, I have not seen any in action but it wouldn't make my short list.

are you worried about 3d and are you a gamer at all? If the answer is no and you can fit in a 55vt65 then that would probably be my choice, but I have to warn you based on experience that buying from a reputable retailer is highly advised. I've had problems with two gt50's and both my retailer and panasonic have been a right pain in the ****. If you get a screen with any picture defects panasonic will not deem it faulty and will advise it is within spec of the unit. Can't comment on songs customer service as I haven't had one other tv's (yet). If you are a gamer then the sony would be better I believe but some reviews advise a narrow viewing angle so you would need to check that out for yourself. Either way make sure a demo both, side by side if possible.

plasma tech appears to have reached the end due to a few reason. First oled needs some r&d before it can go mainstream, secondly LCD/led can be used on all sorts of screens from phones to tvs so it's easier to continue r&d in this.

i think that covers most of it 🙂

I have a 47wt50b its a good tv... the 55 I'm sure will be just as good. last years models are heavily discounted at Richer sound if there are any left I;d go check - its a great looking tv too wafer thin and almost frame free.

no clue about the others in your shortlist but the WT series are more than a match for plasmas with HD content.

as an owner of a WT I'd strongley recommend them
