Sony switching to Spotify

Sony are discontinuing their Music Unlimited service and rolling out Spotify on Playstation 3 and 4, plus Xperia phones and tablets -> link

Good move, many people use Spotify and having to subscribe to another service just for Sony was silly.

It is excellent news. Pity I went PS3 - > XBox One. 🙂

Hopefully Microsoft will follow.

I do still use my PS3 in the bedroom though, so not all is lost.

Also, it NEEDS Spotify connect from the off.

Put how much is spotify going to cost? Will it go up or down ?. I been using sony unlimted music for a while now, through my hifi system. And very happy with it.

Any word as to whether Sony TVs will get it? Am considering a PS4 as my main source but am concerned about noise with BD so want to keep my options (which include Sonos) open.
