Sony STR-DN860 Soundfield Reverts When Changing Input

Im noticing a strange behaviour with my newly purchased Sony STR-DN860. Everytime I alter the soundfield settings, it reverts back to HD-D.C.S. whenever HDMI CEC kicks in (a button is pressen on a HDMI CEC device, etc).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like HD-D.C.S. is a form of audio processing, and the preferred setting for Sony recievers is A.F.D. auto, which should just pass through the signal un-altered . To owners of the DN860, or other Sony reciever owners, does yours exhibit this behaviour as well? Is there any way to set the soundfield to A.F.D. auto and have it stick for HDMI CEC devices?

Edit: I should mention that I am using this with a Sony W850B TV and multiple HDMI CEC devices (PS3, PS4, Apple TV)

I can't figure out your problem but I find a Sony STR-DN860 Manual and selecting a soundfield is mentioned on page 67. Hope that would help.

If you have not done so already I would suggest you check Sonys website as there is/was a firmware update for your model on 05/11/2015
