If there is no phono input, you will need to purchase an external phono stage. If you can get to a local Richer Sounds there are plenty to choose from (and not that expensive).

You can then connect the phono stage into any analogue input on the Sony.

Unfortunately CarlDW is quite correct. This is an AV amp and there are not many around with a fitted phono stage. You will need a phono pre-amplifier suited to whatever type of cartridge you have fitted to your turntable.

Oooo, expensive: to connect a turntable with a moving magnet cartridge into an AV amp like the Sony, I'd be looking more at the level of the Pro-ject Phono Box MM, at just under £50, or the £10 cheaper Phono Box E.

If you have a moving coil cartridge go for the latest version of Pro-ject's Classic Phono Box, at £79.
